Hey!
So Saturday night I went to the Rugby game at Westpac stadium, nicknamed the cake pan. I sat next to a guy and his friends family so that was interesting. The game overall is more quickly paced then football and I understood most of it. I still have a problem telling what kiwi children are saying as their words are much more slurred.
In the game the Hurricanes (the Wellington team) lost in the last seconds on a penalty kick by the Sharks (From South Africa). So it was definitely interesting but both teams played rather average.
Today, Sunday I have mostly been working on scheduling my next semester at Tech, as registration opens this week. I have a volleyball game at 3 with people I don’t know in a place I am not exactly sure of (so pretty much like every other single thing I do in this country
). Later I need to test my tramping equipment and then actually do more schoolwork (taking a 3 month vacation after not having one for like 2 years was a questionable call).
So, later I intend to post some more of my thoughts (I think a ton) rather than just narration. But well see where my motivation level ends up.
Also, on Thursday I leave for my 17 day spring break. During this I will only be updating via Facebook. I intend however to post an overview of my trip afterward.
I wish all of you reading this the absolute best and hope as much as can go right is going right!
Cheers!
-Mathias
